Connie, from Columbia SA, worked for the Columbia Coffee Growers. I meet her at Cousin Nancy’s party and we immediately hit it off. Connie was always generous with her time and effort. She would review and retype contracts that I was preparing for GCI. One day we were visiting my friend Marc in Westchester and I purchased Rolling Stones tickets from someone in the park who could not attend that night. When I presented my good fortune, she insisted I stay and enjoy the company. I reluctantly agreed Two days later she showed up with two great seats for another night of the Stones performances. She purchased the tickets from scalpers at great expense to present me with what I wanted. We drifted apart overtime.
